When I sat down to make this gnome, I found myself pulling out familiar colors. You may notice how often these colors have been used recently- that deep pumpkin, the deep plum and that forest green. There is something about them, now, in the midst of winter, that makes me feel warm. The colors weave together so nicely and I just smile.
This fellow is ready to work the ground. I believe him to be gardener and I get the sense that he is itching for Spring so that he can get his hands dirty and start planning the crops and tending to the flowers.......
