This was a day of traveling south- not far, but it was a bit of a trek down to visit family not too far from our northern state border. So this one, she was a girl of travel, a gnome on the road, so to speak. I even snapped a shot of her shortly after she was finished with my phone up against the windshield. That strange bumpy thing she is on? Well, that would be my well used, well loved felting pad, it's gray foam riddled with tufts of wool in many colors, deeply worked into the foam at this point. It is bumpy with age and use and certainly coming to the end of it's life but it has a little left in it yet.
This gnome? I think she's tough and full of energy, ready to get the job done with determination and has a strong love of adventure....
