It took a while but here is the after dinner gnome- after the day I've had, I didn't find the discipline or will to sit down to make him until just now.
He is friendly, I can tell, but he seems to have gotten stuck in the paper white jar and can't quite get out on his own.
Can't you hear him? I swear he just said (with a lovely British accent of course):
"Um, pardon me, but could you please help me out?"
