Some of my favorite days are the ones when my house is full of children- both my own and their friends. Now that they are older there are so many teenagers. It is a real treat to have those young enthusiastic souls visit bringing new ideas and art projects and lots of smiles. Last night it was a night of nachos, popcorn and a movie, all crammed into the living room. What a lovely way to spend an evening!
So, I made a gnome while we watched (and laughed and occasionally commented on the sillier moments of the movie). This fellow is about community- bringing it in, growing it strong and tall and bringing joy. We need more like him!
