This sweet girl came along yesterday afternoon on a day when I was thinking, "Seriously? This is like Portland, Oregon- rain and rain and moisture but no sun. And what is up with the cold? I know it's Maine but this is SUMMER!" Well, almost, officially Litha (AKA Summer Solstice) is on June 21st but still- warmth is a good thing after this long winter.
This girl? She's all about the warmth. She likes hot, sunny days that have the likes of me seeking shelter and panting with heat exhaustion next to a fan. She beams warmth and sunshine and smiles broader on the hottest, sunniest days.....
