It was a close one! I almost didn't manage this guy. After 3 hours of broken sleep on Sunday and the rhythm here that has shifted in the house, I went to work. But by the time the day was at its end, I was too. There was a necessary conversation on responsibility to have with my teenage son ("Well, no it wasn't okay to go to a friend's house and leave chores undone, that is not responsible, you know better, frankly, I'm surprised at your choice") followed by that bone deep exhaustion. And then at 8:30 when we had finally eaten, I looked at the couch with a longing that surprised me and realized that there was a gnome to be made.
So, I pulled out my kit and picked through colors and along came this fellow. He is rather cheery, I have a feeling that he works with flowers when the weather warms. I think he is helpful around the house but when the flowers start to bloom I am willing to wager that he is rarely seen inside choosing to spend most of his time in the garden....
