Oh yes! This is was a good day and the evening was both lovely and a little frustrating (from the parental standpoint). I found myself helping my son write a last minute (well, it wasn't intended to be last minute, mind you) essay. Very interesting! After we wrapped things up, I lay on the couch dreaming of going face down into a pillow and sleep beckoned me. I was so tired!
Instead, I faithfully made this fellow. There was a "first" in there- I dosed off while felting! I am not kidding, one moment I was felting the hat and the next minute I was jerked awake and confused. I did finish him though and (remarkably) without jabbing myself in my exhausted daze.
There is something remarkably cheery about this fellow. He's a go-getter and a happy guy. I am sure he's here to bring the sunshine pouring in.
