2014 A Gnome A Day- Day 306

On November 2, 2014 snow flew! Yep, it's that time of year and watching the snow fly about and grace this lovely land, reminded me of another reason we moved here. The world was covered with a blanket of white, the fire was stoked up in the stove and the children donned their winter gear and ran out to greet this first show of Maine winter.
This fellow was made to celebrate the arrival of snow, of winter, of the time we tuck in and celebrate the flipped of the light. This gnome celebrates the practice of holding the light within ourselves when the world begins to sleep in more darkness around us.
I have a feeling he also likes to sled, ice skate and ski!

This gnome was made November 2, 2014
